I had a fine time, and as you might guess, Charlie had an absolute blast. He was a little skeptical about the cabin ... but man, that dog is born to hike.
And now, we're both ready for a nap. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks! And I totally lucked out with the backpack ... it's a Mystery Ranch pack, made here in Bozeman, and it's outstanding. (I actually won the thing in a local contest over on the-social-networking-site-that-must-not-be-named.)

ReplyDeleteAs for Charlie ... yeah, he's definitely great! His lineage, though, is a total mystery. I'm guessing there's some Australian Shepherd in there, and there could very well be some lab, too ... after all, labs are the quintessential Montana dog! I might have to send off for one of those doggie DNA tests one of these days.
Knowing your sentiments about wheeled luggage, I should've guessed!
ReplyDeleteWell I'll think twice before sharing. I'll just have my husband circle you. He loves Montana as much as I do, if not more. My other lab Cody (RIP) was a Montana lab. Huge dog, gorgeous, handsome head. I'll have to post a pic.

ReplyDeleteGreat! but fair warning! We literally have thousands of dog pics. Oh, for privacy reasons because I didn't want Zuckerberg to know much about me, I signed up on Facebook as my dog! (Darla Atkinson) so you can only imagine how many dog pics I have there! ;-).
