Off on a long drive to eat an obligatory Thanksgiving meal with a bunch of in-laws who I barely know, whose politics are appalling, and who hate dogs. I'd much rather be planning a quiet day at home with a Swanson TV dinner, or something. :/

    This year I decided not to spend the day with people who don't like me or people who feel sorry for me. I only hope I can finagle it for Christmas too.
